Hi all
Recently my 2001 1.6 16v Bora has started to develop a problem. When the car is cold it always starts on the button, however, when the engine is at normal temp, if I pull in for petrol, fill up and pay, by the time I get back and try to start the car, the engine just will not fire, it turns over quickly enough, but no ignition. I have to wait about five mins then all of a sudden the car is back to normal????Whats more annoying if I switch the engine off and turn over again immediatley it will fire, but not if I leave it for 5 mins. :confused: Another sympton is a smell of hot coolant, no leaks though! Any ideas??
