Does the EGR get bypassed when remapping a 2.0tdi? I've heard that they aren't relly needed and once remapped can be completely removed for better throttle response.
My A6 is just about to come out of warrenty so I'll be getting a map (Probably a chipped uk economy map) and was just wondering about the EGR.
anyone know much about them and whether they're needed or not?
