Q7 S-Line aftermarket towbar advice.

Could anyone help with some advice about the Witter and Westfalia detachable towbars and electrics.

The electrics kit for to suit the Q7 means it uses OEM plugs etc but mentions a manufacturer recode.

Can this be done with the VAGCOM and would it be worthwhile getting the VAGCOM as I intend to keep the car for some time.

I was looking at having this done. My local mechanic was ex Audi and looks after our cars. He can fit the tow bar for me plus the control box that goes under the passenger seat but he has told me it would have to go back to Audi for a recode for the adaptive suspension so it knows it has a tow bar attached. Audi quoted me £150 to do the recode separately.
