The time is upon us once again, my 4th year of attendance.

£20 for a weekend's camping and what has grown to be an awesome festival, water and air cooled dubs coming together.

It'd be nice to see a couple of VWAF members there this year :approve:

Just over a month to go people - is there anyone from the NW travelling down for the weekend?

I've got a convoy of 5-6 cars at the moment so a few more won't be a problem.

Would be nice to see some of VWAF there this year :Blush:

Do you get tickets then pay for them when you get there? I got an email saying That my ticket will arrive 3/4 weeks before, plus an id number?

you have to pay for them at the point of ordering, using paypal or credit card.

I thought so. Just it wasnt letting me and i got an email saying that i got the tickets. I emailed the sales and they said they see ive bought the ticket and sorry for the site problem. Do you think i should try again?

I've had quite lengthy discussions with the organisers of vwfestival, so they're not the type of people to cause confusion.

I ordered my tickets, paid by paypal and got an email to confirm.

I did this, all at once, following the links step-by-step.

It's really not that complicated bud.

Any idea how many families go and whether it is kiddy freindly? I''m taking the wife and sprogs and camping in the family area and taking them to the kids disco. My first time and i've dragged my family and my sis and her boyfriend. Feel free to look out for us. Mk5 Golf GTi and A4 B7

If there's one thing I can say for sure about vwfestival, it's that it's kid and family friendly.

Very welcoming atmosphere, friendly people too.

Might struggle to spot you though bud, you've just named two very common cars - maybe get hold of a forum vinyl before and stick it in your car?

Absolutely fantastic weekend - this festival just gets better every year.

Live music was 5*, beer was 5* (£3 a pint was bearable too), weather was 5* and the turnout dwarfed last years.

Definitely definitely recommend this show as a display of what dubbin' is truly all about.

Well the weather was absolutely perfect! It didn't seem too promising on Saturday night, but by the time I woke up on Sunday morning (almost wasn't the morning though!) the sun was well and truly out.
