A5 - Keyless Entry

Hi All,

Just checking to see if anyone has had any problems with their A5 Keyless entry system, mine has been working fine for the last year but for somereason now it has stopped working on both doors. I have tried cleaning both sensors, but no joy ?

Any thoughts would be appreciated or it will have to be back to the dealers ?

the capacitor sensors fail in the door handles due to water ingress.Very common failure and easy fix

Thanks for your input do the capacitor sensors in the door handles have to be change by the main dealers ?

If your vehicle is still under warranty then yes, if not then no and they are easy to change
