HI,
I had a towbar fitted recently to my 2008 A8 by an independant. I'm more than hapy with the install and had the audi / westfalia detachable fitted with 13 pin electrics on a universal kit.
The problem i have is that the reverse sensors bleep when i go into reverse or move off at slow speed. I was advised that the dealer would be able to reprogram for £50-100 but the dealer I went to said it couldn't be done as it wasn't an audi plug in kit.
Is there a way around this short of pressing the mute button every time i stop? or does anyone know of a dealer that has solved this in the past?
