OK - I need to install my Parrot CK3000 Evolution with multican interface and my Tomtom satnav cradle in to my new MK6 :1zhelp:

I have found a post on removing the headunit trim - is the heater control trim exactly the same? I have ordered one of those dashmount brackets and this is where it attaches to...

As for connecting the cradle, in my MK5 I connected the wires to the cigarette lighter wiring using "scotch locks" - is the trim around the gear lever as easy to remove as in the MK5? if so, I will probably do the same... My other option is to connect it to the parrot ISO adapter behind the headunit but I am worried about overloading? Is this possible?

Any help would be greatly appreciated as my final option is to have it installed by a pro at great cost!!

Cheers in advance, :beerchug:
Neil.

No, DIY.

It's pretty much the same as the Mk5, lift the gear shift gaiter, undo the two T20s and lift the ashtray panel out.

I think the heater contorls are the same too.
