Map sensor fault (should i continue with remap?)

:1zhelp:Hi ive just got my car back from the garage as engine light was up sending it into limp mode (intermitent). was told i need a new map sensor and wire check?cost £220 but dident go ahead with works as im thinking of getting my car remapped anyway. my question is would the remap sort out the fault with the sensor saving me £220:confused:

to remap your car the map sensor would need to be fixed what was the fault code ?

Ideally you would need the car to be free of any faults to do this.

No it would not...

The car needs to be fault-free before remapping and any reputable remapper should refuse to modify the car until is it running 100%.
