Hi Folks

I am a newbie here so apologies if I get the protocols wrong.
I have 2.0 Diesel touran on a 53 plate and the heater is not blowing.
Everything on the dash looks find and I can set the temp, and turn up the fan but nothing comes out and the there is no blower/fan noise.
Anyone had a similar problem ? Could it be just a fuse ? If the fan needs replacing is this simple?
Any advice gratefully received.
Thanks in advance
Grant

Hi not sure if you managed to fix this problem, as its an old post, but would be useful to know. The possible cause could be the thermal resistor for the blower. This is located in under the glove box and sits under the fan. It canbe accessed by carefully removing the foam layer in the passenger foot well and the then unclipping the thermal resistor holder from the fan assembly. Relatively quick job to replace thermal resistorand hopefully should get your fan working again. Let me know if this helps.
