Hi guys. I hope someone can help me. I have an Audi A4 2.8L V6 registered Sept. 1999.
There is an oil leak which appears to be coming from an item which is fixed to the top rear of the right hand cylinder head. I don't know what this item is but it appears to be secured by 3 torx headed screws and it has an electrical terminal into which a plug is fitted at the inboard end. I'm guessing it is some kind of sensor? I think it may have a gasket between it and the cylinder head which I need to replace, but as I don't know what it is I cannot specify the gasket I need. I'm also a bit reluctant to take it off in case I upset something and I can't get it back on without having to properly locate it in something inside the head.
Any advice anyone may be able to give would be most welcome.
