location of ABS unit on golf plus ?

I am hopefully having my faulty ABS unit serviced and thus save many hundreds of pounds replacing it . However, I need to know the serial number before I have it removed. Secondly. Where is it?

Fitting location: the hydraulic unit is on the right hand side in the engine compartment.
