Are The callipers on the golf m4 1.8t 180bhp bigger than the 150bhp version?

I wonder if anyone out there can help,do any of you guys know if the callipers on a vw golf 1.8 turbo 180 bhp are bigger than the standard ones on my 150bhp 1.8t??any help would be most appriciated.thanks.someone out there must know.

Try eBay. The Audi TT 225 apparently uses 312mm discs and them along with the calipers and caliper carriers will make a direct replacement for the 150bhp Golf. Allegedly, I'll let you know if it works when my kit turns up :Blush:

hiya dub, yeah the kit turned up and as promised they fit like a dream. The car now stops like a mother lover and looks ace behind the standard, (Montreal?) alloys for the 150bhp 1.8T.

All you need is the calipers and the carriers and the discs and swap the whole lot retaining the hoses from your golf. Brilliant.
