Rear door lower bump strips - where to buy?

Hi,

Afflicted with (one of) the standard A4 probs - rear door lower bump strips are hanging by a thread and need replacing.

Does anywhere do reasonably-priced non-OE replacements, or am I looking at a trip to the Audi dealer? Any ideas on cost?

Hi i had all 4 ov mine missing on my car so i visisted a few scrappys and found a set which was in good condition.
But dont use old white clips as the tend to break when removing or brake as ur putting them on so i suggest buying some from audi, thats wat i did and fitted them perfect.
The strips only cost me a tenner aswell which was a bonus:beerchug:

so i take it there are holes in the metal in the doors to clip these on to? its just ihave a 1996 model and it doesn't have these lower door strips, but i want some.l

mmmmmmm aint sure there as on my a4 there were like metal pins welded to the door and u slide the clips into the strip and then u slide the strip on the door.If u dont have the metal pins then i guess some 1 has removed them and painted the bottoms or the 96 a4 might not have the strips aint to sure would have to look it up

The 96 A4 didn't have them. I believed they were added to A4's from 1998.5 and onwards.

I bought them from euro car parts for my A4, I think front ones were £13 each and rear ones about £9 each but that was over 3 years ago!

just 96 that dont have them and they look much cleaner for it

Mine is 1997 and definitely has them. Also have to say I don't think I would like to do away with them completely, as I think they look good on the side of the car that they are on.

I've had two from ebay, front left and front right. About £20 each plus p & p. Dead easy to replace too.:approve:
