RS4 Replicas rare?

Hi All,

Basically I bought a VW Golf with RS4 replicas on it already, 18inch version 9 spoke. I did have a nice set of 4 centre caps with VW logos on them but recently lost one.

I dont know much about the wheels although it has the markings 'wheelscompany' on the inside. I searched the web and found a wheelscompany in germany who I emailed but they told me they haven't made the wheels and that it's 'wheelscompany italy'. I can't find such a company anywhere on the web!

All I want is a replacement cap and the ones on ebay dont look the same as mine... any help please??

You should be able to get the same or very similar ones to yours off ebay its just a case of hunting through them to fit a good quality version. Just mke sure you get the correct size as there is quite a few. Even if you have to buy 2 just so what ever side of the car you put them on looks equal, as it doesn't really matter whats on the other side as nobody can see both sides at the same time to point out they're slightly different.

I have a similar problem with some 17inch RS4 alloys that are on my Passat. I have hunted high and low for some replacement centre caps after I lost one too.

I have spoken to a parts specialist and he says that because RS4 replicas are shipped in from abroad and only come with one set of centre caps if you require any new ones then the only way to get them is to either go to the manufacturer direct (very difficult - I have tried!) or look for someone selling second hand ones. Some will come on ebay from time to time and this is probably the only way you're going to get some.
