Hello! New to Audi

Hi All,

I've not yet got the A3 I'm after but thought I would join a few forums in the mean time.

A friend of mine used to have a 2000 A4 - brilliant car.

Looking forward to becoming an Audi owner (already a Volvo owner, V70 T5)

Welcome, the A3 will be a bit of a change from a V70! Love the T5s :D

Thanks :) T5 is staying, A3 is for the misses. Thought she ought to have a decent car! with any luck we'll find a decent 1.8t so that I can enjoy it too! :)

In my search for a decent A3 I've ended up getting a Mk4 Golf :) Did try out an a3 TDI 130 but it was a bit scruffy and smoked a lot more that it should!

Now the proud owner (well, its the wife's car as well) of a 2001 (51) Golf GT TDI 110 (not a PD) in 'Green Collection' which seems quite a rare colour. 58K genuine miles, runs and pulls like a dream! fun to drive too! I'm now having fun seeing what can be added to it or even turned on / off (e.g alarm beep etc etc).

Here's to many happy years driving with the VW!
