Whats wrong with the box you've got have you upped the power of your engine or has it given up the ghost.
I know guy's who have VR6's and use the O2A box out of the mk3 tdi motor , the gears may be tall but not for some who have a supercharger or turbo conversion .
And for more bomb proofing and performance you can add a quaife limited slip diff and lightened flywheel and to top it all off a motorsport cable changer which gets rid of all the crapy linkages and slack.

well its got moon miles on it and making some funny noise's so while im at it i thought why not?
im on a tight budget for the time being and have been offered a gti to break for 60 quid! come to think of it how much more work would it be to change a 1.8gl to a 2litre 8valve?
