2002 T4 glow plug light flashing

My T4 glow plug light is flashing occasionally. Brake lights are all working fine. van is a 5 cyl AJT engine. Vag com said something about an injector but van starts great from cold and just had MOT test and emmisions all ok.
Any ideas? I will re vag com it and get the code to post on here but in the meantime any info would be great. As I say, it is not causing a problem at all but just want to find out why it does it.

I think they're supposed to flash if the engine management system has spotted a fault. I had my ems checked by the local garage using a fault code reader to tell me what the nature of the fault. Hope you sort it.
