vag com help please

hi i`ve just got a vag com for my gti mk3 cleared the air bag code no worries :D . problem i`ve got is abs light is on but when i try to read it all i get is something like "too many comunication errors " any idea what i`m doing wrong :1zhelp:

The ABS CU is probably duff and cannot communicate to the buss.
Comes up in here regularly.

There is a fix that entails soldering a wire inside the CU.

The alternative is a refurbed module.

thanks for the reply and after considerable thought and due to the fact i`m about as much use as a chocolate tea pot when it comes to soldering off to the scrappy i go :biglaugh:
