I've just got a nav+ head unit to fit into my 2000my A6 instead of the original symphony double din unit. It all works fine except that the mapping does not keep up with the car despite a good satellite signal. Are there futher connections or coding required to enable the speed signal? i have fault codes 00625, 01317 and 00867 recorded in the fault memory.

Hi, You have connected the GALA speed sensor wire - this is almost essential to proper use. It connects between the instrument panel and the Nav+ and provides impulses proportional to the speed of the car.

I do not have the info to hand, but I can find it if you wish.
