Hi I have just bought a 2004 Passat 130bhp Highline,I have a couple issues so searching the www,came across this forum so thought I would join.I live near Burton on Trent married with 1 little boy.

1 - When reverse engaged bleeper sounds continuous even though not near anything ?

2 - The car has some dirty finger prints on the head liner oily I think whats best to clean ?

I had a 2003 VW Passat TDi 130 Highline too... I love it and the fact they came fully loaded!


As for the bleeping I would guess that one of the parking sensors might be faulty. See if there is a local VAG specialist with can diagnose this with VAG-COM

Yea I agree really good cars,with virtually everything like you say. Car going for a service on Monday so will get them to check it.

Yeah get them to do a once over.

I had my one remapped and all... It was in VW Driver Magazine at one point along with a load of us from the forum
