I have a 2005 A4 Avant with RNS-E fitted. Had a flat battery recently and when connecting the jump leads to restart they were intially put on the wrong way round!!
No harm done as far as I can tell other than the RNS-E / Radio will not power on. I have checked the fuses and both the 20A Radio Fuse in the main fuse panel and the 15A Fuse on the rear of the unit are good (the 15 A had blown but has been replaced)
I have checked the RNS-E unit on the bench and thankfully it powers up OK indicating a problem in the car.
I have looked at the manual however cannot see any other fuses. Has anyone experienced a similar problem or know of any other fuses that need to be checked?
