Hi.

I have pd 130 ibiza remapped by custom code based in chesterfield to approx 170 bhp, to the problem, a few months later the dials would just freeze and the dash lights would come on, once the engine was stopped it would not start until the battery was disconnected / reconnected i was told it was a dash pod problem?, this was replaced at a cost of £700 the car then had to go to a seat main dealer for the pod to be programmed, could this have affected the new map as the car does not feel as responsive since its visit to seat. Thanks

I wonder if Seat re-flashed the ECU with a standard map?

Possible, but it still seems to pull better than standard or maybe its just a head thing!.

I can’t imagine a dash pod replacement causing it to be somewhere in between the two, it must be one or the other.

I agree the map must have been wiped just seems to go better than i remmember as standard, will see if custom will do a cheak on the map.
Thanks.
