Bulb Warning on Dashboard

Every time I switch on the ignition of my 2002 TDI Sharan, a picture of a light bulb appears in the middle of the dash and it squeeks at me. I have replaced all the bulbs (some were black) to no effect. Does anyone have a list of which bulbs can cause this and what the resistance limits are?
I have checked the system with the diagnostic tool at a VW specialist but there was no function to analyse the bulb warning system.
I would be grateful of anyone's help here. :1zhelp:

I have the same problem on an 07 sharan. Bulb warning lamp but all bulbs are fine.

The bulb warning light will come on every time you turn your ignition on, and will not go out until you use the brakes for the first time

Hi .

I got the same problem on a 2007 1.9 tdi sharan . Bulb indicator is switching on and after some seconds it switches off.

It would be great if somebody could come with some solution to this problem

Its a testing operation showing that the bulb failure device is working. It comes on to show it is operational and can warn you if any bulbs fail.If it doesnt go out then you check for failures.
