Tyre pressures & Tyre wear?

Hi,

My A4 2.0TDi SE is running 225/50/17 michelin Primacy tyres.

What pressures should i be running front and rear?

The last set of front tyres wore away the middle section and the shoulders still had loads of legal tread left. This would normally indicate that the pressures are a bit too high. I was running the fronts at between 29-30psi for the whole time which i wouldnt have said was too high..?:confused:

Any others have similar experience with the centres wearing more than edges?

Check the tyre pressures indicated on the edge of the drivers door.
I have different sizes than you so cannot really comment but that type of wear does indicate that your pressures are too high.
Mine are fairly flat 245/40/18 Potenzas
