Vents / coin holder by gearstick?

Can any one help?
What are the slots beside the gearstick above the stop start switch?
There appears to be different inserts in each slot.

They are coin holders for tolls, which is rubbish cos £1 coins don't fit!!! I tend to rest them in the leather of the gearstick instead. But only for short periods as the clincking gets annoying.

Yep, EUROs fit ! But only a max of three in a row, if you try and put more in when you accelerate they come flying out and roll into the seat mechanism. A particularly bad design feature IMO.

If someone came out with another solution for something to drop in that slot they'd sell loads.

If they do then they should remember to make two sizes i.e. for those with and without the Start / Stop over ride button. ;)
