A4 avant 2008 door handle cover fixing

Hi all. My first post on here. I have just had my drivers side door handle cover fall off and it is not so obvious to me how it should be secured. Its on a 2008 A4 Avant S line if that makes any difference. Not sure if this is a common problem. There is a sliding locking plate which secures the upper fixing lugs but I cant figure out you you get to this when the handle cover is in place. Anyone had a similar problem ? Help would be appreciated.

Yes I guess I should have tried that first ... anyway thanks very much for your help. I will hopefully sort it out tomorrow. Thanks again.

Just read through that thread and thats my problem explained exactly. Can't wait to get down to Sainsburys tomorrow and pick up a Nectar card !! Surprised Audi dont sell them for a couple of hundred quid !!
