Hi, I've got a 1984 Audi 100 1.8 saloon with a carb. I've not had it a month and I only put in £20 of petrol when I bought it. Well last night I thought I'd fill her up and this morning there was a huge pool of petrol under the tank. The mechanic has said the upper section of the tank is rotten and it needs replacing but no one stocks parts for these old Audi's any more!
Does anyone know where I can get a fuel tank from? I might need the fuel sender if that turns out to be rotten too! Hope someone can help, thanks!
