just had mine sorted, running like new again. Was really annoying driving 100 miles a day with that noise, made the car feel like a piece of crap to drive. thought the flywheel was on its way but problem was the alternator pulley. cost £80 at Audi dealership.
so worth getting it checked you might be lucky like i was. thought i was gonna be stung £600 for flywheel kit + labour
