Wing Mirrors stopped working!!!

Have a '59' reg CC ~9k miles with the folding wing mirrors (for when parked) and today they stopped working properly. The right one will fold in but the left stays out and then it takes considerable 'fiddling' with the switch to get it to fold back out.:mad:

Anyone else had the same issue??

I will book it in the dealer, but seems a bit rubbish for something like that to go so early in the cars life!!!

Sounds like an issue with the switch to me. Imagine that's a part common to many VWs etc. so hopefully quick and easy fix.
