Can anybody help. My dad`s 1993 Passat tdi will not start. the engine will not turn and the glow plug light is flashing. There is a dinging noise coming from the right hand side of the car. Just prior to this happening he had put oil in before starting the engine. It ran, but when he switched it off it would not start again and the engine will not turn:1zhelp:.
