My sons Golf plus on a 56 plate.He keeps it immaculate I am trying to get mine to the same standard a 1.4 TSI SE in Reflex silver . I know that red does look good when properly buffed up but am using Meguiars next generation tech wax 2 to get mine near his lol:approve:

yes i guess i do go over the top cleaning my car . like to see it clean and can spend a good few hrs a week keepin it that way. and my dads getting there with his vw golf . just have to keep wathing the master at work lol.:D

I would recommend getting cleaned up and sticking a couple of coats of collinite 476 wax on. Gives a great shine, is detergent proof and should last about 6 months.

Id buy it online to be honest. Halfords dont do it but some other car shops might. Prices can range from £15 - £20 odd. I think this is who I bought mine off and it was delivered very quickly.

could be worth giving it the clay bar before you start, have a read of some of elite detailers posts on here he knows how to make a car shine :D
