Just bought a 1997 1.8 8v VENTO and have noticed the rad fan doesnt kick in. The coolant seems to be very new and the expansion vessel seems new. Left the cap off and squeezed all the pipes to try unblock a airlock if there was one there. I noticed the bottom rad pipe was cold. Could this be a blocked rad or a thermostat needs changing?????
How hard is it to change the thermostat?
The car isnt overheating and the heater inside the car blows hot air wonderfully. Is there something wrong or is it just me olooking too hard.
