Hi, I have a high mileage 98 1.8t gti which has recently gained an annoying, intermittent, indicator problem. When putting on the indicators the dash light stays on as do the bulbs but they do not flash, this is the same with the hazard lights. I have checked that all the bulbs are working which they are and have taken it to the garage several times and strangly they appear to work again! It does seem worse after we have had damp weather conditions. I have been told by someone that many of the electrics are connected via a specific unit which is very expensive to replace. I am also having some probs with my wipers occasionally staying on for short periods and not being able to turn them off and strange goings on with the temperature gauge...its kind of acting a little 'possessed' at present! Any ideas? Anyone else had similar probs?:1zhelp: Thanx
