Hi people,
A friend of mine has a wee problem with her Audi A2 1.4 tdi, the car is a 2003 model, she has a couple of warning lights on the dash, her ESP warning light and ABS warning light, after driving and applying the brakes slightly a large exclamation mark in a circle appears in the display accompanied with a bing, she took it to the Audi dealership and after them putting it on the diagnostic computer they came to the conclusion that the ESP control module needs replacing, at a huge cost she was quoted £800
I am wondering if it is the control module can a second hand module be bought and installed easily? i am worried that the new module might have to be programmed, i know this is a bit long winded but if anyone can help i would be really grateful, many thanks in advance
