wires cut on parking sensors

Hi, Im having trouble with parking sensors on my sharan tdi,

When put in reverse it beeps and flashes but that’s all it does,

I checked the back and all seem to be working as each is making a slight buzzing,
The 2 in the centre of front bumper are not working but the ones at each end of bumper are.
Wire seems to be ripped out completely on the middle ones…
If I get 2 new sensors and I replace or join these wires up again should it all work then?
