Hand brake ratchet???

Hi all, i have a 1998 A4 and the handbrake wont stay up, when i pull the lever it just springs back like the ratchet has gone, any ideas? And cost..

This is the A5 section mate. As far as I am aware, they all have electronic handbrakes on the A5/S5 series.

Just thought i'd tell you so you can repost it in the A4 section. :beerchug:
