ibiza sport 1.4 hesitant to pull away

Hi all, my friends got an ibiza sport 1.4 05 reg and it seems to have a flat spot in 1st gear its very hesitant to pull away at a slow speed or from parked postion. shes taken it back to the dealer once as its under the warrenty , but they didnt find anything wrong, has anyone else had this problem ? is it a known common problem with this model ? any help would be much appreciated

I suggest she has a fault code read and quick test drive carried out by another garage at her own cost. If this does not come up with a fault code or any defect is found, it may just be a characteristic of the car, if it does show a problem, then she should go back to the dealer armed with this information and demand it is fixed or warn them that she will have it fixed elsewhere and seek redress for the costs.
