well after thinking the oil pump had let go again
turnt out its the cam chain tensioner
i had this changed in may 09 with 99k cos of the diesel sound
and now feb 10 with 103k its failed again good goin audi for the parts
lasted 3k
its not the parts cost its the labour to fit

Idf you brought the tensioner from audi and still have the reciept, parts are warranted
for 2 years, they will fit the new one for zilch.....

ill get the cash back for parts but i dont let audi touch my cars
i took it in to cardiff cos i was near they said oil pump failure
i thought it could have been but knew it wasnt it was changed in the last 10k
for audi to change the tensioner they want sumat like 7 hour labour
even if i had a brand new audi id never use the dealers
