Central locking problem with code 01561

Hey all,
I recently sold my old TDI Avant and got a petrol quattro Saloon. There's a problem with the central locking though.

The blinkers don't flash when I lock the car and VAG-COM is giving me an error code:
01561 - Left rear door
60-00 - won't safe

Now all the doors do actually lock and the footwell and door lights all work, so I suspect it's not an issue with the door micro switch. Has anyone else had a similar problem?

Thanks for the link! I was browsing through the Ross-Tech site before but must have missed that bit.

I assume the central locking actuator (safe) F222 is part of the door lock?

I expect so, yes. Probably the bit that moves to lock it.
