Believe it or not, but our Sharan's headlights were stolen 2 days ago.
The driver's door was forced with a "screw-driver like object" (police terminology).
This opened the door (as well as all 4 windows simultaneously ("VW Feature").
Opening the door, eeven that way, appearantly de-activates the alarm, you can guess the rest.
My questions:
- what use is this alarm (I also have the inner-room surveillance option) if VW installs locks that are useless ?
- what can be done to improve this ? I was thinking of actually disconnecting the locks from the alarm, so that it HAS to be de-activated with the remote control. Ok, they'll still damage the lock, but at least the car will beep.
