Can anyone tell me where I can get new Wiper arms and blades for my 2002 A4?

The paint is peeling off the arms, which I believe is a common fault.

The local dealer quoted £90 is this a good price?

Is it possible to get the Aero arms and blades for this model?

Thanks. :beerchug:

mine did this, so i removed the arm frm the spindle, snaded down with a fine wet and dry, primed and repainted with black satin spray, this was 18months ago and no probs since. im guessing the paint audi use, react with the metal on the wiper.

I have also painted the lower part of the wiper arms. They all corrode for some reason. I did it on the car, masked things up, quick sand of affected area then painted on some smooth black Hammerite, looked absolutely fine and I'm fussy!!.. 2 years on and no issues at all. Although 1 was replaced after the missus had a snow related incident.... ahem.

They are only a few pence from the dealer. Probably the cheapest genuine part you will ever buy.;)

This happened to the drivers wiper arm on my A4. Apparently, when you raise the wiper off the screen, there isn't much clearance between the two moving parts and it catches the paint.

An independent Audi specialist sorted it for £30 although reading the above, I could have just sanded and painted the bottom myself and it would have been fine.

I haven't had the same problem again, although I am really gentle when lifting the wiper arms up - and it's been 4 years since.

I also rubbed down and sprayed with black satin a lot cheaper than
buying new ones. eBay for the blades I have bought standard blades and had no problem with them £16.00 for a pair
