Touareg Transmission Problems

:1zhelp:I own a 2005 Touareg 3.0 tdi Sport which is having some transmission problems. Firstly after driving for around 30 mins the lights on the dash which tell which gear is selected turn to a red solid block, if you switch off the car and restart it resets itself. Secondly the tiptronic manual selection does not work at all, otherwise the gearbox changes up and down with no problems at all. Any body have any ideas. Thanks:1zhelp:

you need to get a diag test done and this will tell you what may be causing the problem
