Can't open fuel flap with button

The button to release fuel flap is not working, neither fuel flap or internal alarm sensor button is illuminating, could it be a relay issue?? if so which realy and where.

All I can say is that our button came off but we found the spring and stuck it all back in with blu-tac!

Sounds like the door switch sensor is not working. . Does the interior light come on when you open the door?

The ccu must be able to tell the door is open before it will activate the sensor and fuel flap buttons
