Hi All,
We had replaced an engine ECU on my mates 1995 Audi Coupe 2.6 ABC Engine last year (Imobiliser coded by Audi dealer). recently it has had battery running flat issues (duff battery) and now he tells me the engine tickover is just over 1000rpm and has been like this since the replacement ECU was fitted.
Car runs fine with no fault codes but just want to check if the tickover is correct.
1st: should I perform basic settings on the engine ECU?
and 2nd: After reading VCDS Manual, how do you Know which measuring blocks to basic set?
also just noticed the ECU coding is 00071 but the old ECU of same part number was 00062, how do i find out what this difference is, and will it matter?
