Hi,
Does anyone know where I can get the cup holder insert for the front centre arm rest in an A4 B7 model, or what the part number for this would be? I have a 56 plate A4 Avant and it has very little storage space for drinks bottles in the door compared to my previous B5 model. Has anyone got the cup holder insert in their front arm rest? Do you think it is useful? Anyone want to get rid of theirs? I think the previous owner of my motor had the mobile phone thingy in the arm rest and maybe removed the cup holder.
Cheers for your help

Not sure that if you have the phone prep in the arm rest the cupholder insert will fit, but worth a go.

Cheers for that Kite. I don't have any phone prep stuff in the arm rest at the moment - good point though! I do have a funny feeling that the arm rest could actually be a v bad place to have drinks as they will be right in the way of where your arm moves while changing gear!

Nice one, thanks for that. Looks pretty good. I'll try to find out how much the part costs and if Audi UK still have any in stock. I did contact my local dealer in North West last week and he said it was a part that would maybe have to shipped from Germany. He also mentioned some of the arm rests in the A4 are different sizes and shapes - surely they must all be similar. I think that will be a standard fit part.
Cheers

If it has to come from germany, should only take a week.

Drop it in, 2 screws at the bottom that push lugs out of the side to secure it in the armrest.
I think I paid £20

Better price than me! I asked dealer and am paying £30.84 (inc VAT) next week. A lot for a cup holder in an awkward location, but my wife will also appreciate having a place for her drink too : )
Thanks for help

Kite,
I got my arm rest drinks holder from Dealer yesterday, and it fits well. Cheers for your advice! Nice one.

wow that looks like an amazing way to completely waste the space thats inside the armrest!

The one cup holder that pops out from the dash is nice and out the way. I use the space in the armrest for keys and paper and pens and stuff so would hate to lose that.
