A4 convertable 3.2fsi quattro grinding wheel

I have owned the car from new and is about a year old. Recently however the car has developed a grinding noise from the drivers side wheel when turning with a large amount of lock on. I would just like to know if anyone had a idear what the problem is before it goes in for its service so that i know if it is a common fault or somthing that can be recktified easily.

whats the power steering fluid level at??

I never thought to check it as fairly new car and it is below minium so will get it sorted. When checking fluid level have also noticed the radiator coolent is below minium. I thought they were filled for life and a new car would not use fluids apart from oil at this sort of rate. The car only has 7k on the clock. Thanks for the advice.
