Hello fellow forum users! Just registered and this is my first post. I bought an Audi A6 1.9 Tdi (130) in November as it was about time I had some comfort. I opted for the diesel variety as I exceed 250 miles a week and am enjoying ~53 mpg. I am not too mechanically minded so please excuse any sketchy descritpions. I have a couple of questons about symptoms I have experienced recently.
Firstly, does anyone know the likely cause for what feels like the engine missing a beat and a momentary loss of power? Secondly, I am having problems selecting 1st and 2nd gears, especially when cold. THere feels like stiff resistance that needs firm but careful pesuasion. Any clues would be appreciated.
