Looking for something better

Hello to you all , 1st day today.

not seen this site before so I am going for a look round but I thought I should say hello first.

My purpose for joining is that I am taking the first step towards changing my car. I have had a VW before, that was a 2002 Golf GTTDI 130. I had that from new but only for 1 year. I have regretted selling it ever since.

I am looking for a 4 wheel drive Sports Turbo hatchback as my next car, the Hatch is so that I can get my Dog in the back, the turbo so I can get there quicker. Don't mind diesel or petrol what ever is the best buy at the time.
My Alfa has been nothing but trouble and money since 2 weeks after I got it and I am looking for some thing more reliable.

hi and welcome... you havent mentioned your budget though :(

depending on your budget,you have a wealth of choices, for me the R32 would probably be the ultimate sports hatch (but cant afford to run, let alone buy one)

if you're after a quick diesel, the new 2.0 vag tdi is an excellent engine and pushes 170bhp as standard in the new A3 i believe.

really need an idea of budget

4 wheel drive was specified therefore the MK5 4motion.

I think this is available in R32 spec but i will stand corrected.
