View Full Version : trouble removing viscous fan

hi, i'm having some trouble undoing the 8 mm hex bolt behind the viscous fan, so that i can remove the alternator. I need to know if it's normal or left hand thread. I'm not sure if i should be trying to turn it clockwise or anti clockwise. Many thanks

hi it is normal thread anti clockwise i did mine last week end you will also need some water pump pliers to hold the pulley while you undoo the hex nut hope this is of help;)
