is the cam timing correct?
did you pin it and use the toothed lock tool?

Did you disconnect the batter with the ignition on. You seem to have a lot of 12v feed problems. Have you checked the main power relays.

I see this a lot, nearly always valve timing when people do not use a crank locking plate and cam locking pin, disconnect the cam sensor and see if it starts, if it does it is the valve timing. I had a motor trader with this last week, he had the engine APART twice and fitted a new sensor over it but in desperation called me, I told him it was the timing and lent him the locking tools, it was running in an hour.

the car was running previously but had a slight bump on the n/s/r corner, so took it to the body shop for repair. it drove into the oven to get painted but would not drive out. it was low on fuel, so we thought this was the problem, but put some in and no difference.
fuel sender had slight crack so we changed that, still no joy.
fuel is getting all the way to the tandem pump. at this point there were no dtc's so it was time to check the timming which seems to be fine. i did not use any locking tools to check this as i have changed belts and heads on these engines before without locking tools and never had any problems.
after a little more checking i found the turbo to be dead, so i tried to start it with the top turbo pipe next to the egr disconected and it worked. so the next day tried it again but this time no joy, so i fitted the new turbo, but still no joy.
i have tried to spray a little diesel into the inlet then try and it seems to work but now and again it will cough up oil into the inlet.
next i tried to tow start it, again this worked but coughed up oil into the inlet and turbo pipes. but now i have some dtc's which are shown above, the low voltage ones are more than likely that we have tried to start it so many times the battery keeps dying.
i hope this make sense to someone because it is now doing my head in.

If your charge air system is full of oil, you need to replace the dead turbo and flush the system out clean or you stand a high risk of pulling oil up that the engine could run away on.
